10 Weeks | 10 Days | Real Industry Exposure | Local Experience That Counts
The Industry & Innovation Work Experience Program provides structured, supervised exposure to Western Australia’s industry and innovation ecosystem — including medium and large businesses, innovation-led organisations, and ecosystem partners.
This program is designed for people who need local experience, practical exposure, and credible Australian references to progress their careers. This is not employment. It is a short-form, capability-building work experience pathway aligned to real industry activity.
As of December 2025, PropTech Hub WA has supported 31 participants through structured work experience and ecosystem-led placements.
85% of participants secured employment within six (6) weeks of completing the program.
These outcomes reflect: real industry exposure, practical, supervised project work, access to medium and large businesses, growing start-ups & scale-ups, strong local references and ecosystem connections.
The program is designed to improve employability, not just participation.
Work directly with PropTech Hub WA on industry and ecosystem initiatives, such as: events and industry activations, research and ecosystem mapping, media, content, and communications, stakeholder coordination, operations and project support.
Placements with approved PropTech Hub WA member organisations, including: medium and large businesses, innovation-led organisations, scale-ups and service providers.
Typical project areas include: business operations, marketing and communications, research and analysis, project coordination, admin and support roles.
All placements are: supervised, clearly scoped, non-revenue generating, not replacements for paid roles.
Participants who complete the program successfully receive:
There is no participation fee.
The program is free to approved candidates. Places are limited and competitive.
Applicants are assessed on: motivation and readiness, communication and professionalism, alignment with available placements, availability and reliability.
Priority consideration may be given to: new arrivals to WA, graduates without Australian referees, candidates seeking their first local experience.
