Program Structure
The Program Is For You
The Program Is For You
The program responds to a well-documented challenge: while women are strongly represented in STEM education and professional roles, they remain significantly underrepresented as founders and business owners.
Women in PropTech Perth addresses this gap by providing a practical, supportive pathway from technical expertise into entrepreneurship.

The Program Is For You
The Program Is For You
The program is Perth-based and supports women at different transition points, from early exploration through to business formation and early growth.
Women in PropTech Perth is designed for women who are: currently working or trained in STEM-related roles, exploring entrepreneurship for the first time, early-stage or solo female founders in PropTech, looking to commercialise technical, professional, or domain expertise, or seeking confidence, capability, and credible pathways into business ownership.
Explore
The Program Is For You
Transition
The Explore stage supports women in STEM roles to safely and confidently consider entrepreneurship as a viable pathway. It focuses on awareness, confidence-building, and exposure to real founder journeys, helping participants understand how their technical, professional, or domain expertise can translate into PropTech businesses. This stage demystifies entrepreneurship, addresses common barriers such as risk perception and self-doubt, and provides early validation that women belong in founder and leadership roles within the PropTech ecosystem.
Transition
Program Outcomes Since 2021
Transition
The Transition stage supports women who are actively moving from STEM employment into entrepreneurship or early-stage business ownership.
This stage addresses the highest-risk point of attrition, where women often experience uncertainty, isolation, and a lack of practical guidance. Participants build core commercial capability, including customer discovery, problem–solution fit, value proposition development, and early validation of business ideas. Structured mentoring, peer networks, and applied learning reduce perceived and real risk, while reinforcing confidence and founder identity.
The Transition stage is designed to move participants from intent to action, providing a supported pathway that enables informed decision-making, early momentum, and sustained engagement in entrepreneurship.
Build
Program Outcomes Since 2021
Program Outcomes Since 2021
The Build stage supports women founders as they establish and grow viable PropTech ventures beyond the initial transition phase.
This stage focuses on founder readiness, early revenue generation, partnerships, and long-term sustainability. Participants strengthen leadership capability, refine business models, and develop practical strategies for customer acquisition, delivery, and growth. Engagement with the broader ecosystem supports access to pilots, collaborators, and market opportunities, while continued peer and mentor support reinforces retention and resilience.
The Build stage is designed to increase the survival and success of women-led PropTech businesses, ensuring founders move beyond early experimentation into sustainable business ownership and leadership within the sector.
