The Tasker Room takes a practical look at emerging ideas across property, construction, development and commercialisation. The afternoon shifts to commercialisation with a hands-on Pitch Practice Workshop, before Cygnet West explores how new enterprise can activate underutilised commercial space.

Cullum Ashton is an industry ecosystem builder focused on connecting technology, property, investment, government and industry to create new commercial opportunities and drive economic growth.
As Chair of PropTech Hub WA, Ash has helped position Western Australia as a growing centre for property technology and innovation, connecting founders with customers, investors, government and international markets.
Ash also serves on the PropTech CoLab ANZ Board and as a 2026 REIQ LIFT Ambassador, supporting greater collaboration across Australia’s property and technology sectors.
Charlie Gunningham has spent more than 25 years in Perth’s tech and startup sector, firstly as a founder himself, through to exit, and more recently in media, advisory, government and investor roles.
These days, Charlie sits on the advisory board of WA Leaders, the WA Government’s Innovation Advisory Board and is Chair of advocacy group StartupWA. He also works part-time as Entrepreneur in Residence at Venture UWA, writes a startup column for Business News and is Head of Ecosystem Engagement at Meshpoints.
Dru Mincher is a Commercial Manager and Casual Mall Leasing (CML) Lead at Cygnet West, where he looks after the commercial growth of Pop Up Place, an award-winning digital platform transforming how short-term retail leasing and space activation is managed across Western Australia.
At Pop Up Place, Dru sits at the intersection of technology, property, retail and entrepreneurship. The platform digitises the traditionally manual casual mall leasing process, allowing retailers, small businesses and emerging brands to search, book and activate kiosks, pop-up shops and other short-term spaces, while helping landlords reduce vacancy, unlock new revenue and create more vibrant destinations.
Greg Riebe is the Vice Chair of South West Angels with over 20 years experience in most facets of the emerging technology sector, Greg ran what was the first technology incubator in Perth, managed a fund investing in technology start-ups, has been a co-founder of a number technology businesses and more recently as an adviser to founders on how to become investment ready, how to get scale, create and capture value and how to position their ventures to harvest returns for shareholders, investors or stakeholders.
In 2020, Greg was recognised as the Australian Angel Investor of the Year and was awarded the 2020 WA Pearcey Entrepreneur Award.
